chicken bones

i had tried to dispose of some chicken bones in the wood stove they were not totally consumed by a small fire i made in a attempt to get rid of them mom latter comes in cleans out the wood stove of all of the ashes and dumbs them out side a few feet from the door and for the next several days i have to contend with the dog rooting in the ash heap and finding the chicken bones and wanting to eat them.
